Native Tree ID Class

What trees grow naturally in your community? What makes a tree “native” to our area, and what are the benefits of planting native trees?
Join staff from Green Valleys Watershed Association and Bartlett Tree Experts to learn tree identification using leaf, bark, and flower characteristics, plus the habitat benefits of native trees in the landscape. Afterwards, you will apply your skills on a walk through the Welkinweir arboretum. Participants will take home tree identification resources and a native tree seedling!
$10 per person; GVWA Members $8 per person.
