Weekend Naturalist Walk: Birds with Valley Forge Audubon Society

Join Green Valleys Watershed Association staff and volunteers from Valley Forge Audubon Society to search for birds and other wildlife at Welkinweir!

Stroll through the fields, around the ponds, and on the woodland hiking trails of our scenic 197-acre preserve and arboretum. Bird observations are recorded for submission to eBird, a citizen science initiative that monitors bird populations around the world!

Birders will meet at Welkinweir’s visitor parking lot off of Prizer Road. Binoculars and field guides will be available to borrow for the walk. Perfect for beginning and longtime birders alike!
