The American Public Gardens Association organizes National Public Gardens Day each year to celebrate botanical & educational gardens, arboreta, conservatories, and historical landscapes throughout the country. Held on the Friday preceding Mother’s Day weekend, this national day of celebration invites communities to explore the beauty of public gardens while raising awareness of the important role public gardens play in promoting conservation, education, and environmental preservation.
